We have extensive experience in the creation, the development, management and implementation of personalised support packages for people with autism/Asperger’s and other learning disabilities on the spectrum. Dawn is an accomplished practitioner with extensive qualifications to back up her wide repertoire of skills and in-depth knowledge including:

• writing and delivering accredited training courses and workshops to teaching assistants, teachers and senior managers including autism and co-existing conditions
• Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating programmes/strategies for individuals on the autism spectrum and associated conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, PDA, attachment disorder and social difficulties. Identifying the needs and aspirations of students and agreeing SMART targets that had been documented in a systematic way that demonstrate impact
• Planning and delivering training in autism spectrum conditions and associated learning differences to families, siblings, nurseries, schools (primary and secondary), colleges, universities and businesses
• Placement observations and 1:1 mentoring and guidance sessions with students to inform theirs and staff development
• Forming part of a needs assessments to agree SMART targets which included diagnosis explanation, understanding of social situations, friendships, SRE, sensory difficulties, puberty, anger/stress management and transition periods for student.
