Founder of Working4Autism, Dawn Makinson, is an experienced, highly qualified and specialised autism spectrum consultant. She is a member of NADP and the CPD Certification Service and registered with DSA/QAG and the ICO. She has also achieved the coaching awards from the International Coaching Centre which is endorsed by the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management). Dawn offers a wide range of specialist autism training, support and guidance and has extensive experience in the creation, development, management and implementation of personalised support packages.

Dawn is an accomplished practitioner with extensive qualifications to back up her wide repertoire of skills and in-depth knowledge. She has significant experience in designing flexible responses to specific needs through her working partnerships with other professionals.  The design, delivery and evaluation of the service is bespoke to the individual as opposed to the same approach for all.

Dawn’s innovative and personalised direct and indirect support to children, young people and adults on the autism spectrum focuses on enabling them to develop their own ‘ways’ of managing situations they may find challenging, providing them with support for their social, emotional, academic and work related needs. The service enables individuals to access and maintain employment, education, training or volunteering.
